1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and an encrypted password.

Assessment data: When you use our free assessment tool, we collect the commodities you select, dependency levels, and estimated annual spend. If you optionally provide your email, we store it to send your results.

Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive transaction confirmations from Stripe including payment amount and status.

Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data including page views, referrers, and device information. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

• To provide access to your purchased reports and assessment results
• To process payments through Stripe
• To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, report delivery)
• To improve our services and data quality
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with row-level security policies. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.

We use essential cookies for authentication (session management) and functional cookies to remember your preferences (such as banner dismissal). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing sourceshift@liveablecity.co. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
